Job Description
We are currently seeking a Transport Compliance Business Partner to join our Transport Compliance Team at our client Morrison’s Gadbrook site.
This role could be based from any of the ESL/Morrison sites .
Travel will be required for this role you therefore must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
As Transport Compliance Business Partner you will support the Stobart Morrison’s General Managers, Transport managers and transport teams to discharge all the statutory obligations detailed in our Operators licence maintaining good repute and reducing business reputational risk for both Stobart and Morrison’s.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.
Job responsibilities of Transport Compliance Business Partner include:
1. Undertake structured legal compliance audits across all Stobart Morrison’s operations.
2. Support the operational teams to address negative trends identified within the audits.
3. Support the operational team with the provision of legal compliance dashboards, scorecards and KPI’s
4. Attend T3 and T2 monthly meetings to provide commentary on Compliance performance across the depots.
5. Support with the development of the Stobart /Morrison’s transport teams in relation to Transport Legislation and the Compliance systems used to manage this.
6. Liaise with the maintenance provider to ensure obligations in relation to maintenance schedules are complete and visible.
7. Support the National Transport Compliance Manager with DVLA enquiries of desk top exercises.
8. Review All Compliance KPI’s on a daily / weekly basis, supporting operational teams with addressing negative trends.
9. Support the Stobart / Morrison’s Head of Ops, GM’s with Transport Compliance related projects.
10. Ensure compliance to the Stobart transport legal compliance polices and processes in line with our ISO9001 accreditation.
11. Support an effective transport governance and review processes at all levels of our business.
12. Interface with the legal team to validate any formal correspondence to the authorities.
13. Interface with the central training team to develop tailored compliance training.
14. Collaborate with the Operations directors and General Managers to share best practice.
