The Clinical Support Worker role has been developed to support the clinical team in caring for Cardiothoracic ITU patients and their loved ones, and ensuring clean and organised clinical areas. We will support you to develop your confidence and competence through a programme of supervised practice, bespoke critical care specific competencies and study days. Main duties of the job The CSW role supports the clinical team in caring for Level 2 & 3 patients and their loved ones following cardiothoracic procedures and surgery and ensuring clean and organised clinical areas. You would be responsible for providing fundamental aspects of patient care at the direction of the qualified nursing team to ensure critically ill patients and their loved ones receive high quality, dignified and respectful care.
