Calisen is a leading provider of metering solutions, delivering essential support to energy suppliers and helping households become more energy efficient. As part of our growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduling Assistant to join our dynamic Work Dispatch Team.
As a Scheduling Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and allocation of work orders. By effectively managing work schedules, optimising travel routes, and ensuring resources are correctly assigned, you will help maximise productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule work orders using internal and external systems to ensure optimal route planning.
2. Monitor work orders and address risks to ensure timely attendance and completion.
3. Reallocate work orders as required to ensure resources are effectively utilised.
4. Manage emergency work orders to minimise disruption to planned schedules.
5. Collaborate with Field Managers and operatives to ensure work is attended within agreed timescales.
6. Accurately update work management systems and escalate issues as necessary.
7. Communicate with customers regarding engineer arrival times and reschedule appointments where needed.
8. Respond to queries from field operatives and management teams regarding work scheduling.

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract. Working a hybrid working pattern working Tuesday and Friday in the Wigan office. Hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, on a rotational basis between 7am and 5pm.
