We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our senior management team delivering Revenue and Benefit Services for Ipswich Borough Council, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils. The Shared Revenues Partnership (SRP) is an established partnership, thriving since 2011.

We look to deliver a digital first approach, promoting and supporting self-service while providing comprehensive, accessible advice and ensuring that these services are simple, reliable and easy to use.
This role provides strategic leadership and financial control of the Revenues service for our partner organisations with each partner regarding you as an active member of their senior leadership team. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Finance, you will be responsible for the collection of over £370m in Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit Overpayments from 156,000 properties and 12,000 businesses.
This is an exciting role for someone with a relevant professional qualification and at least 5 years’ experience of leading and managing people, delivering high quality services and performance outcomes in a Revenues and Benefits environment. You will also be required to have detailed knowledge of Council Tax and Business Rates Regulations, as well as experience of managing staff, budgets, business planning, and change management.
