Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting Support Workers, Carers and Health Care Assistants near Croydon to support our young client living in their home.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll work long-term with one or a few clients, supporting one person per shift.
Role Overview:
Our client is a 4-year-old boy living in his family home in Teddington. As a member of his team, you will be responsible for the following:
* Administering medication
* Supporting with play therapy
* Supporting and monitoring epilepsy
* Providing personal care
* Assisting with moving and handling
Shift Pattern:
Choose to work full-time or part-time hours. Enjoy a fixed rota, with the option of overtime, and select from:
Day shifts:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 20:00pm
Waking nights:
Thursday – Saturday: 20:00pm – 8:00am

Responsibilities
* To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
* To closely observe and monitor the client for any clinical intervention required.
* To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
* To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
* To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Experience with epilepsy.
* Day team members must have a manual driving license.
* Experience supporting with moving and handling.
* Experience supporting children with complex care needs.
* Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting.
