Vacancy Location: We have positions at Ty Cwm Gwendraeth and Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU
Shifts: Full-time hours available (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis).
Shift patterns: To be agreed at interview.
Pay Rate: Base rate £13.00 per hour; upon completion of in-house HCP training, this will be uplifted to £13.50 per hour.
*In addition to your normal base pay rate, if you work shifts at Ty Cwm Gwendraeth or Cwm Gwendraeth, you will be entitled to an additional gross 60p an hour for all shifts. These rates are discretionary and subject to change in line with business need.

What is involved?

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential for this role, and we can work with over 18’s.
What’s involved as a Health Care Practitioner?
You’ll care for people with various complex needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health.
We take time to get to know people irrespective of ability or disability and aim to empower individuals to be involved in controlling their lives.
You’ll provide personal care, maintain health needs, hygiene, and keep things tidy and safe. You will work alongside Registered Nurses in nursing settings, assisting the Home Manager/Nurse in Charge to deliver safe and effective nursing care.
You’ll take charge of a specified clinical area (e.g., floor or unit) and ensure it is managed safely and effectively. You will be required to administer medication safely and effectively with the support of a Registered Nurse.
Maintain clear and accurate records related to medication administration and the well-being of the people who live with us.
