in Wokingham, Berkshire for an international and leading multidisciplinary consultancy. They are looking to expand their team with an additional Employers Agent, to join their team in Wokingham and aid in the successful delivery of mainly new build residential schemes in the Thames Valley region and down to the South Coast. Salary of £35,000 – £55,000 + Car Allowance £4.3k – £5.2k + 28 Days Holiday + BH + Hybrid Working (1 day per week in the office).

Delivering cost-effective and sustainable projects for their international client base. The role sits within the Building Surveying/ Project Management team collaborating with the cost management team and reporting to Senior Associate Director level. To be considered you must have a background as an Employers Agent, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor from consultancy ideally with largescale new build residential experience. Our client is open to looking at candidates from Assistant Employers Agent level up to intermediate level with further scope for progression available.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the commercial and contractual performance of projects
2. Contract administration
3. Support the commercial procurement and contractual strategies
4. Assist with the preparation of cost budgets, appraisals and reviews
5. Provide advice to clients on development plans
6. Value engineering / value management
7. Undertake design reviews
8. Project and programme reviews
9. Implement risk management process
10. Advise on procurement strategy
11. Production of tender lists
12. Prepare and Issue Tender Documents and evaluate tender responses
13. Prepare contract recommendation reports and
14. Produce contract documents
15. Contractor interim payments
16. Cost Reports and Forecasting
17. Variations
18. Site visits to monitor progress, inspections and manage handover.
Required Skills & Experience
19. RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or similar
20. Consultancy background
21. Residential largescale new build experience is preferred
22. MRICS or working towards.
