As a Workshop Engineer with Clearway, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and related security equipment. Working within our team, you will ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications while conducting site surveys to determine the best system configurations. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems and related equipment. Perform site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and system requirements. Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure functionality. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV equipment and software. Provide timely and effective support to clients experiencing system issues. System Upgrades and Integration: Upgrade existing CCTV systems to enhance performance and capabilities. Integrate CCTV systems with other security solutions, such as access control and alarm systems. Stay updated on the latest advancements in CCTV technology and recommend improvements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and technical support. Key Experience, Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a CCTV Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, cameras, and related technology. Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Relevant certifications in CCTV installation and maintenance are a plus. Physically fit and strong enough to handle regular lifting of heavy items (32kg batteries). Willingness to work over-time and occasional weekends as and when required. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and positive approach. Good timekeeping, reliability, and self-motivation to succeed in tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A willingness to listen, take instruction, and collaborate with colleagues. Self-awareness of personal strengths and areas for development. Trustworthy and capable of building strong relationships with team members and clients. Resilient, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
