Description Shift Engineering pool - Dordon, Tamworth At Ocado, we are always looking to build a dynamic pool of talented hands on mechanical engineers to fill various positions across our teams. We are looking for passionate, skilled engineers or engineering technicians to join our talent pool. Positions are available across a range of engineering disciplines, including but not limited to: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Please note: we are a 24/7 operation, so the vast majority of roles are shift based which includes (days, nights and weekends) Skill, Experience and Qualifications ● Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software, this may include, but is not limited to: ●NVQ Level 3 or HNC Engineering or equivalent ● Relevant Degree coupled with relevant applied learning ● Engineering Technician Apprenticeship ● Manufacturers PLC training ● Electrical and/or mechanical skills preferably gained in an FMCG background to at least NVQ 3 Ideal candidate must have: ● Sound analytical skills, good problem solver. ● Good communication skills both verbal and written and good interpersonal skills, able to analyse and impart knowledge. ● Good organisational ability, able to prioritise. ● Knowledge of Control Systems is desirable. ● Self motivated, consistent and able to work at pace. ● Computer literate and able to use a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). ● Physically fit to be safely able to carry out engineering maintenance activities at the CFC ● English Language ability such that able to read and understand safety information, technical manuals and data, and communicate clearly with colleagues to enable a safe environment. ● Experience within an Engineering Service Support role in an automated production environment.
