Strategically located in near proximity to the shoppingmeccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our vibrant and dynamic Reservations Team.
Under the direction of the ReservationsManager and the GroupRevenue Manger the incumbent would be responsible for assisting in the operations of the Reservations function within the hotel to achieve the targets of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Services
Takes Hotel reservations over the telephone and through other mediums, in response to faxes, websites & emails. Processes accommodation booking and sends detailed confirmations and offers clients, within 24 hours.
Checking the day to day arrivals lists to make sure those bookings are correct for guests arrivals and ensuring quality control when agents carry out this duty, with particular emphasis on rates and accuracy of information.
Verifies that all reservations are input correctly into the system, including billing information.
Liaising with reservations personnel to ensure customers receiveprompt, cordial attention and personal recognition, with particular emphasis on attention to regular/repeat customers.
Liaising with travel agents, the Reservations Manager, Revenue manager and Front Desk Manager
Maintains a positive, open dialogue with all team members and vendors/OTAs.
Checking emails on a daily basis, ensuring they are replied to within 24 hours.
Checking websites twice daily and ensuring they are replied to within 24 hours
Updating any agent/ company profiles and adding any new information into the PMS.
Informing sales of any sales leads i.e. new and /or potential business that requires a follow up.
Works with reservations personnel to maintain and constantly strive to improve the levels of customer service.
Deal with group enquiries and contracting group bookings.
Operational/ Team Management
Awareness of changing workloads of the office and anticipating was of alleviating pressure points flexibility i.e. assisting other colleagues within the reservations office.
Maintains and inspects the Reservations Office for cleanliness and orderliness.
Maintains filing system and ensures correspondence is accurately filed and completely on a daily basis.
Responsible for monitoring non arrival billing, ensuring accurate records are kept and compiling of monthly statistics for the Revenue Manager.

You must either have experience in a similar position in Hotels or have substantial experience as a Hotel Reservations Agent and be looking to take your next step in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of Opera Cloud is essential.
