An established and innovative semiconductor company is seeking a junior Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior engineer to play a critical role in driving yield improvement and quality assurance within a dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environment.
Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and presenting yield data to both internal stakeholders and external foundry partners. Your primary goal will be to proactively identify and resolve yield issues early in the production lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and maintain high product quality.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside design, test engineering, project management, and supply chain teams, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in semiconductor manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse test data and generate statistical reports to identify yield trends and issues
* Lead early detection and root cause analysis of yield problems
* Drive process control and continuous improvement at foundry partners
* Maintain reliable yield monitoring systems and address data integrity issues
* Track project timelines, costs, risks, and yield performance
* Develop measurement plans and present yield insights to leadership
* Capture and share best practices, lessons learned, and process improvements
* Turn technical needs into targeted improvement projects
Requirements
* Experience working with tools/programming languages such as JMP, Python or Matlab.
* Experience and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams
* Experience with CMOS, FMEA, aMEMS, SPC
