Building strong relationships through clear communication and meeting expectations and deadlines is crucial. The role also involves working with customer representatives, vendors, and guiding other support staff when needed. You will support and manage various SIEM and EDR platforms, including creating content, playbooks, and processes. A solid understanding of IT, operating systems, firewalls, and networking, along with strong cyber security knowledge and experience, is required. Supporting new products and services is also key to staying competitive and meeting customer needs. The role requires initiative, confidence, and excellent self-management to help achieve successful outcomes and maintain BT's position as a leading service provider. What you'll be doing - Implement security procedures and processes for BT that align with security strategy, policy, and legal requirements. - Provide security advice and consultancy to BT's business units and external customers. - Support security compliance with government and industry bodies. - Develop and support policies, functions, and configurations for customer projects. - Conduct integration testing for new services and create necessary documentation. - Represent the team leader and line manager in meetings. - Ensure sensitive customer information is protected, maintaining BT's reputation as a trustworthy company. - Support and maintain SIEM infrastructure, including applications and operating systems.
