Technician in Art and Design to join our Creative Industries team at our Cambridge Campus.
You will join us on a part time basis - 29 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between
£24,107 - £25,983 Pro Rata pro rata per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role:
Art and Design is an exciting and vibrant department within Creative Industries with a broad range of specialist workshops including Ceramics Studio, 3D Workshop, Sculpture Room, Printmaking Room, Fashion Studio, Life Drawing Room, Digital Photography Studio and Darkroom.
You will be required to prepare resource materials prior to teaching sessions for staff and learners including learning materials. Support lecturer and learners during timetabled lecturers and leads on demonstration of techniques and processes to learners as required to support teaching and learning. Control, order and maintain stock, studios and specialist resource areas along with equipment in studios. Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are carried out and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
What we are looking for in our role:
We are looking for someone who has a background in Art and Design, whether a practicing artist or from an education background, with some experience in the above activities. You would be working closely with other technicians in the department as well as the lecturers, therefore the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
