We are seeking a skilled and motivated recruitment specialist, ideally with experience of recruiting in social care, to resource top quality values-driven candidates for vacant positions across the group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for connecting with individuals and matching them with suitable job opportunities, using diverse and creative methods to attract candidates, and embedding effective processes to ensure time to hire is minimal and efficient without impacting on a vigorous interview and selection process. The postholder will also support a smooth yet robust onboarding and compliance process for candidates.
We are looking for someone with experience in a recruitment environment to be able to hit the ground running with minimal training needed. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced HR team and to develop and progress wider than recruitment.
Responsibilities
1. Utilise lead generation techniques to source potential candidates.
2. Manage candidate relationships and guide them through the recruitment process.
3. Utilise HR and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress.
4. Engage in social media management to promote job openings and attract candidates.
5. Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
6. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
7. Have oversight of recruitment spend and ensure central recruitment budgets are adhered to.
What we are looking for:
* Knowledge of candidate attraction methods and platforms.
* An understanding of a recruitment and selection process.
* Experience of working with web-based ATS systems.
* Experience of managing recruitment campaigns using diverse methods, including job boards.
* Effectively managing own workload and supporting peers when required.
* Building effective partnerships with job centres and external recruiters.
* Experience of managing a PSL for recruitment agencies.
* Strong attention to detail, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
* Collaborate with peers to provide the business with a Return on Investment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create attractive written adverts.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload.
* Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
* Be empathetic when delivering outcomes to interviewees.
* Shares knowledge and ideas with the wider team and the business.
* Works well under pressure and able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritise demanding workloads to tight schedules.
* Determination, Positive & Driven.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of human resources practices and employment laws.
This role is a hybrid role and would require some time in the Head Office, some travel to sites across the group, and some remote working.
This role will require the postholder to undertake a DBS check and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
