Job Title : Client Care Manager (Reception Manager) Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per year Location: Greenside Veterinary Practice, Melrose Job Type: Permanent, full-time Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic colleague to head up our Client Care team to ensure we provide an exceptional service for our clients and their animals Your role and responsibilities Working as part of a busy team, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to act as a first point of support for our clients and clinical team. We are seeking a polite, sympathetic, friendly, and highly motivated individual with strong administrative skills, including excellent IT skills and the ability to be able to communicate with a wide variety of people. The role will include greeting clients, offering support and guidance during their visit, managing payments, creating appointment bookings, and managing telephone and email queries as well as a variety of associated administrative tasks. Other duties to include, but not limited to: Working closely with senior managers in the clinical, marketing, financial and human resources teams to deliver and promote practice objectives. To manage, motivate and support the reception team in providing professional services to all clients. Act as line manager to the reception team, organising regular appraisals and team meetings Creation of team rota Management of TOIL, absences and holiday requests/cover Ensuring practice GDPR compliance Aid in recruitment, induction and training of staff Complaint and feedback response Appropriate management of consultation and surgical diary To ensure that strategic objectives, as set by the clinical directors, are delivered, with adherence to budget figures.
