Role Description
Lead the expansion into the UK market by designing the GTM strategy and securing key players on the ground as the first person in the region.
* Sales & Relationship Management: Close deals and manage key processors by understanding their needs, building strong relationships with stakeholders (farmers, executives, government), and participating in key industry events and fairs.
* Strategic Market Approach: Navigate a complex market where accounts are interconnected and influenced by associations. Large accounts lead by example—if they close, smaller ones follow.
* Stakeholder Management & Market Influence: Develop FPI maps, take a strategic and sophisticated approach to market penetration, and manage critical stakeholders shaping the buying behaviour of accounts.
* Mentorship & Leadership: Guide new and existing team members and foster a culture of continuous learning as the local team expands.
Deal Cycle & Structure:
* Typical deal size: £50K–£70K ARR initially, scaling to £400K+ ARR
* Sales cycles are undefined due to the early stage of the company and the influence of large accounts.

Must-Haves
✔️ 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or consulting in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong SaaS enterprise closing skills, with expertise in project management, consulting, and stakeholder management
✔️ Proven track record of hunting & closing 6-figure+ complex deals
✔️ Experience in pioneering roles (early market entry, evangelizing new solutions)
✔️ Deep understanding of local UK culture & business dynamics
✔️ Start-up/scale-up experience—comfortable working with little structure or predefined processes
