Purchasing Coordinator A recognised market leader in specialist building and construction products, now has a need for a Purchasing Coordinator/Assistant, to join their purchasing department. Duties Maintaining stock levels within agreed levels and company budget Reviewing purchase of materials and responding to requests from various departments Prepare and submit purchase orders for stocked and non-stocked goods and services Work with logistics and ensure that delivery schedules are met Track and monitor delivery of goods and services to defined measures of lead time and specification Establish and maintain accurate records and files of all procurement activities Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and escalate appropriately where required Creation of new products in SAP systems Amending replenishment order points on SAP Administering price updates and answering availability enquiries Liaising with internal departments across the global network To support the Procurement Manager as required Skills & Experience Clear and concise communication Computer literate (ideally Intermediate Excel) Experience in an office administration role, ideally within a stock planning or purchasing role Experience of demand planning an advantage Ability to work independently with clear direction Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident with managing large volumes of data with accuracy Desire to learn and grow within role Interested, please contact Graeme at Vibe Recruit on 07971 309403 or apply immediately Vibe Recruit is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
