About the role
As the Product Management Director, you will be at the helm of a newly established team, shaping its strategic direction, partnering with wider Softcat and establishing & embedding a product-focused approach within the across Softcat.
As Product Management Director, you'll be responsible for:
* Product Strategy & Business Alignment: Ensure that our internal technology products deliver measurable value and impact to the business
* Capability Optimisation & Capabilities: Champion a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making
* Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of product professionals and maintain a culture of delivery excellence
* Technology & Delivery Alignment: Ensure scalable, efficient, and future-proof solutions that drive operational excellence
* Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership and drive successful change adoption
We'd love you to have
* Proven experience in establishing and leading product management functions, ideally within technology or enterprise environments.
* Proven experience to engage stakeholders and gain buy-in for new ways of working within a business and its technology function
* Strong understanding of business capability modelling, value stream alignment and enterprise architecture.
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including product managers, business analysts and change professionals.
* Expertise in agile product development, lean principles and user-centred design.
