About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a mid-sized residential care home in Manchester, providing exceptional care for elderly and dementia residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring efficient running and maintaining high-quality standards.
2. Supervise and support a team including the Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, and Care Assistants.
3. Oversee financial management, adhering to budgetary guidelines and reporting business performance to the Directors annually.
4. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, maintaining a Good rating across all areas.
5. Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and coordinate staff holidays.
6. Provide leadership, direction, and support to all staff, fostering a positive and professional environment.
Essential Requirements:
1. At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager in an elderly residential care home, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards and a Good CQC rating.
2. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
3. Strong knowledge of CQC guidelines and the ability to work effectively within these standards.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to motivate and manage a diverse care team.
