This role is to support our Senior Broker in placement of risks, whilst at the same time glean his knowledge to support company and personal growth.
Key Duties:
* Providing full support to the Senior Broker
* Attending Lloyds with Senior Broker to broke new and existing business
* Creation of all forms of evidence of cover including policies/wordings as applicable for the classes of business.
* Preparation of Insurance documentation including slips and Endorsements
* Processing of formal quotes for all markets using PPL.
* Handling the agreement of formal documents with underwriters and sending to agents.
* Researching potential markets
* Monitoring and reporting on BlueprintTwo
* Experience using IMR
* Excellent excel knowledge
Experience and skills required:
* Educated to a minimum of A Level standard with at least 2 years’ experience as an Insurance Broker
* Keen to progress as a Junior Broker
* Should be familiar with Risk placement in Lloyd’s and the London Market
* Looking to complete Insurance qualifications
* Strong attention to detail including high accuracy when inputting data
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work will under pressure and to deadlines when required
