Education and Academic Services - Education & Student Experience
This part-time post is available from immediately on a permanent term basis. The post is available at 0.6 FTE (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time working from our Cornwall campus in Penryn, and some from home.
Summary of the role
We are looking to recruit someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an ability to interpret and convey complex guidance, preferably with experience of working with international students in a Higher Education setting.
Working as a job share at the University’s Penryn Campus, the post holder will be part of an experienced team specialising in visa and immigration advice to support international applicants and students. Central to enhancing the experience of students studying at the Cornwall campuses, you will play a key role in organising and facilitating events, liaise with campus staff and be one of the central points of contact for international students based in Cornwall
The post holder will be required to deliver advice via a range of different methods (MS Teams, in person, email, workshops and webinars).
