Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Advanced Practitioner, Wolverhampton Council, Childrens Support Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Commitment to excellent social work, embedding a Think Family approach and working restoratively with children, young people, adults with care and support needs and their families.
2. Support both Adult's and Children’s Services with quality assurance activity and improving social work practice, including leading on audit activity, analysing findings, leading and reviewing improvement plans and presenting reports.
3. Responsibility for projects and key pieces of work to meet given organisational objectives and standards, including sector-led improvement activity.
4. Play a crucial part in staff development, creating and delivering training and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
5. Confidently work with data, identifying trends and collaborating with others to form solutions, able to take responsibility for action plans and driving continual improvement.
6. Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise tasks with varying timescales and manage competing priorities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
7. Confident public speaker, comfortable working alone as well as part of a team, and able to work at pace.
8. Excellent written skills, confident in using your own initiative and able to offer effective challenge and feedback, with a commitment to engaging and collaborating with children, young people, adults, families and professionals.
37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
3 month Temporary Contract
Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful Qualified Social Worker candidate will need to hold a Degree or equivalent, must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
