About Rock Kidz
Rock Kidz is a high-energy, impact-driven organisation that delivers engaging PSHE workshops through the medium of music. We visit primary schools across the UK, teaching children key life lessons on self-esteem, perseverance, anti-bullying, mental health, diversity, and well-being.
Through an electrifying combination of music, movement, and interactive games, we inspire children to believe in themselves and their potential. Our mission is to empower the next generation through high-energy, unforgettable experiences that teach real-life values.
We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and engaging freelance workshop team members to join us in delivering these impactful sessions. If you love performing, working with children, and making a difference, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do
Deliver High-Energy Workshops – Lead fun, interactive sessions with primary-age children, using music and movement to teach essential life lessons.
Perform & Engage – Confidently lead songs (vocally, no instruments required) and get children excited about participation.
️ Motivate & Inspire – Share stories and messages about self-esteem, perseverance, and kindness in a way that connects with young audiences.
⚡ Keep the Energy High – Jump, move, and interact with enthusiasm to create an unforgettable experience.
Set Up & Run Equipment – Help with PA systems, Bluetooth lights, and projectors to ensure a smooth workshop.
Represent Rock Kidz – Engage with teachers and schools professionally, ensuring a lasting impact and potential rebookings.
️ Support Merchandise Sales – Help schools and students get their hands on Rock Kidz merch as a reminder of their experience.
Essential Skills & Attributes
✔️ Confident Performer – Comfortable leading groups of children and commanding attention in a fun and engaging way.
✔️ Performance Background – Singing, acting, dancing, presenting, or similar.
✔️ Highly Energetic & Physically Fit – Able to jump, dance, and lift equipment throughout the day.
✔️ Great with Kids – A natural ability to connect with and inspire primary school children.
✔️ Team Player – Able to work collaboratively in a small, tight-knit team.
✔️ Strong Communicator – Able to articulate messages clearly and positively.
✔️ Reliable & Professional – Punctual, well-organised, and committed to delivering excellence.
✔️ Passionate About Our Mission – Shares our vision of empowering children through music.
Non-Negotiables
Full UK Driving Licence & 24/7 Access to a Car – Travel is an essential part of this role.
