Introduction
Transport and Connectivity have a substantial Capital Programme made up of many different projects which help deliver growth in the city and encourage outside investment. These are collectively known as the Transportation and Highways Delivery Programme, which is a rolling programme of capital and revenue investment in the city's transport networks and systems.
An Integrated Settlement - Transport Programme Manager is required to join the Transport Planning Team, to manage the Integrated Settlement - Transport programme. The programme consists of several projects which are funded via the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). The funding is time limited and must be spent in accordance with the programme's objectives, alongside the grant conditions. In addition to the monitoring of existing schemes, assistance in the development if the next tranche of transport projects to be funded from the Integrated Settlement is required.
This role will report to the Transport Planning Manager - Strategy & Investment and have a strong interface with the Transport & Connectivity Programme Management Office (PMO) Team.
