Internal Supply Chain Manager Monday to Friday Hours: 07:30 to 16:00 Salary dependant on skills and experience Direct Table Foods is one of the UK’s leading bacon, gammon and sausage processors. We are looking for an Internal Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for the planning, development, continuous improvement, and budgetary control of all materials in and the despatch of all finished goods. Our Internal Supply Chain Manager will also be responsible for the delivery of supply chain performance, in line with the business unit strategy and business plans set by the Head of Supply Chain or Site Lead, focusing on shorter term daily / weekly / monthly performance monitoring. Role responsibilities also include: Monitor departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement when required to ensure targets are achieved and improved Investigations into key deviations from process and policy, taking appropriate action to bring the process back into control Work closely and communicate with internal and external customer to maintain business and customer service needs. Ownership and management of day to day stock systems, minimising finished goods and packaging material write off. Ensures traceability at each stage of distribution is undertaken through accurate and timely completion of all documentation relating to the storage and distribution of stock. Has a clear understanding of production processes and our business and is knowledgeable on both product lines and customer requirements. Demonstrates the ability to communicate both internally across multiple areas of the business & externally dealing directly with customers, hauliers and suppliers in a professional manner. Who we are looking for: Strong supply chain management experience including goods in, stock control and the management of third party logistics.
