Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide clinical pharmacy services, ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients. You will conduct medication reconciliations on admission and discharge, provide expert pharmaceutical advice to the multidisciplinary team, and participate in ward rounds. Your role will include supervising and training junior pharmacists and technicians, managing medication safety protocols, and contributing to clinical audits and service development. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and policies, and support the implementation of new clinical practices Qualifications and Experience: • A recognised degree in Pharmacy. • GPhC registration. • Significant hospital pharmacist experience, especially at Band 7 level. • Experience in acute medical and surgical wards, managing medication safety. • Supervising and training junior pharmacists and technicians. • Proficiency in clinical pharmacy services and medication management. • Ability to manage drug budgets, develop policies, and contribute to audits. • Commitment to CPD and staying updated with pharmacy advancements.
