Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join their supportive team. This role involves providing personal care and supporting individualized programs for our students during lunchtime, in the classroom, and at the swimming pool.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pupils with personal care needs.
Support personalized learning programs in various settings.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Participate in staff briefings and training sessions.
Options for Hours:
Option A: Afternoon PCSA – 3 hours 20 minutes a day (12.10 pm – 3.30 pm) + 30 minutes on Wednesday for staff briefings (total: 17 hours, 10 minutes/week).
Option B: Full Day PCSA – 28 hours and 45 minutes per week (9.00 am – 3.30 pm) with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications and Skills:
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Preferably some experience working with children or in a care-related environment.
Ability to work across all age ranges within the school.
This role is physically demanding, so applicants must be prepared for this aspect of the job.
Additional Information:
This position is from 25th November 2024 (or as soon as possible) to 31st August 2025, with annual reviews based on school requirements.
