Finance Manager / Finance Controller Annual Salary: £60,000- £65,000 Location: Sidcup Job Type: Full-time, Office-based 9.00am -5pm Join a thriving Manufacturing company as a Finance Manager / Controller. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in finance management, looking to lead and develop a dynamic team. The position involves comprehensive financial oversight, from preparing accounts to managing compliance and leading the finance team. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns. Produce annual statutory accounts and manage daily cash flow. Engage in planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support financial decision-making. Conduct cost analysis and provide provisions on variances to actuals. Handle monthly payroll and banking operations. Maintain robust relationships with HMRC and manage tax compliance. Oversee the preparation and audits of statutory accounts. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial documents. Manage insurance policies and ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements. Lead, recruit, train, and motivate finance staff, fostering a productive and engaging work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent professional finance qualification. Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the SME manufacturing sector. 5 years accounting experience required Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and staff management. Excellent analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills. Proficient in managing statutory accounts, tax compliance, and insurance policies.
