Are you an experienced HR or People Administrator, a recent HR Graduate or a fantastic Administrator looking for a rewarding part-time (16 hours) role., We are seeking a highly organised and efficient part-time HR Administrator to join our team in Newcastle-under-Lyme on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Providing day-to-day general HR administration, including processing new joiners and leavers, maintaining employee records, and producing HR related reports.
Serving as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from internal and external customers, responding effectively via telephone and email.
Supporting absence and performance management processes and documentation.
Collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Contributing to HR initiatives, programs, and company events.
Assisting with recruitment processes.
Contributing to the planning and execution of company & team events
Aiding the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all HR-related tasks and documentation.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in HR administration or a related role is preferred
CIPD qualified or Degree in HR preferred but not required
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
Attention to detail
Ability to deal with data and produce reports Data whisperer who can turn numbers into meaningful stories
Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Understanding of employment laws and regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
