An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated practitioner to join us as a Home School Link Worker. The successful candidate will have supervisory capacity for the Welfare and Attendance Office, to bring the pastoral team together and further strengthen our offering. They will work directly with children and their families as well as relevant outside agencies and the schools DSL’s The successful candidate will:- Have high standards of communication, both verbal and written, including appropriate record keeping. Is or will train to be a DSLBe able to facilitate discussion and lead small group session Be able to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders Enjoy working with children and parents Have completed designated safeguarding training or be willing to undertake Be able to apply tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in the context of dealing with stakeholders and managing difficult conversations.
