An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable person to join the team in the Pre-assessment Outpatient Department within Perth Royal Infirmary. You will play an important role in supporting the patient journey through surgery as part of the pre-assessment team. Experience in venepuncture and recording ECGs is preferable, however training and support will be provided for the right candidate, offering you an opportunity to develop new knowledge and skills.
You should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a caring attitude and have the ability to work with autonomously in this busy predominately nurse led outpatient department. Based in Perth Royal Infirmary you need the ability to travel across all the Pre-Assessment sites in Stracathro, Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 22.3 Hours, Monday to Friday
