We are seeking an experienced LTQR Document Manager to join our engineering firm on a part-time basis. Our company specialises in providing high-quality engineering solutions to the nuclear and MOD sectors, delivering projects up to EXC 4 under stringent regulatory and quality requirements.
As the LTQR Document Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all Lifetime Quality Records associated with our projects. You will be responsible for the management, organisation, and delivery of LTQRs to meet client and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain all LTQR documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance with nuclear and MOD standards.
2. Prepare, compile, and deliver LTQR packages to clients in line with contract requirements.
3. Ensure all quality records are accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
4. Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to gather and verify documentation.
5. Monitor and audit document control processes to maintain consistency and adherence to industry standards.
6. Manage document revisions and ensure timely updates to reflect project changes.
7. Support quality inspections and audits related to LTQR documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in LTQR document management within an engineering or construction environment.
2. Familiarity with nuclear and/or MOD quality and regulatory standards (up to EXC 4).
3. Strong understanding of document control procedures, particularly in high-compliance sectors.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
5. Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
1. Experience working within the nuclear or defence industries.
2. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
3. SC (Security Clearance) or the ability to obtain it.
