What it's like to work here
You’ll work within a team of Experiences Producers as part of the National Programming and Production team, who play a key part in supporting the delivery of Visitor Experience at the National Trust. We’re passionate about supporting the teams at the places we care for to enable the delivery of experiences that are right for their audiences and place. You’ll play a key role in producing guidance, resources and training that will help them achieve this. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there's flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
Experience Production is all about turning concepts into deliverable products or processes that enable teams to provide meaningful and memorable experiences for visitors. In this role you’ll be focused on delivering for audiences and ensuring our access, brand and experience values are expressed in everything you do. You’ll play a leading role in the design, production and communication of a range of outputs; from digitally produced guidance, videos, tools and resources to physical installations, signage and programming assets. Your work will primarily support nationally coordinated seasonal hero moments for families (like Easter trails and Summer of Play), as well as wider aspects of how visitors experience the places we care for.

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role. But, we'd love to hear from you if you have:
1. Experience in at least one creative discipline; including design techniques, visitor experiences and programming, copywriting or print/digital production.
2. Design and production experience; with an eye for detail in creating physical and digital products or processes.
3. Written communication skills; with experience of writing for different audiences in a variety of formats.
4. Experience managing creative projects; that have been delivered to brief, on time and within budget.

6. Worked flexibly and at pace in an organised way; playing leading and supporting roles in a wide range of creative work simultaneously.
7. Lead continuous improvement and learning; reflecting, capturing and building on ways to deliver better outcomes in process and product.
