Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission we are looking for an interim Tax Project Manager to help us manage a number of projects we have relating to corporate entity simplification which have elements relating to corporation tax, indirect tax and will cover aspects of pulling financial data to make these decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Project manage the corporate entity simplification project, which involves reducing the intercompany balances and closing some of the dormant holding entities existing in the group.
* Work through the tax issues by liaising with PwC and the finance team in London and Bulgaria. If necessary, work with legal advisers to document the steps in the project.
* Maintain a running schedule of all tax projects at Reward Gateway.
* Provide regular updates to the Group tax team and CFO on all tax related projects.
Skills
* CTA or ACA qualified accountant with prior experience in tax projects or similar role.
* Good organisational skills, with proven ability to track various tax projects and provide updates when required, ensuring that deadlines/timelines are met.
* High attention to detail with proven focus on producing consistent, high-quality work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to explain tax to non-specialists in a way that is clear and simple to understand.
