A well-established fit-out contractor in Central London is looking for a Commercial Manager (Project Quantity Surveyor) to join their expanding commercial team. The company delivers high-quality interior fit-out projects across a range of sectors, including office, retail, residential, and education.

The Role – Commercial Manager (Project Quantity Surveyor)
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects, ensuring profitability and compliance. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role requires both independent working and collaboration with project teams.
Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Manager (Project Quantity Surveyor)
• Managing and delivering the commercial aspects of fit-out projects.
• Developing and controlling budgets, cost plans, and procurement strategies.
• Managing contract procurement and insurance arrangements.
• Overseeing the tendering process, preparing bid documents, and issuing recommendations.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and trade contractors to ensure financial efficiency.
• Handling contract negotiations, variations, and value engineering.
• Preparing and agreeing on monthly cost reports, valuations, and final accounts.
• Ensuring subcontractor and supplier payments are processed correctly.
The Commercial Manager (Project Quantity Surveyor)
• Have experience running their own projects commercially.
• Be highly organised with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Be confident in managing project finances, contracts, and reporting.
• Have a solid understanding of contract law and procurement strategies.
• Be comfortable working in fast-track fit-out environments.
• Have experience working in Central London or similar urban settings.
