Position: Full-Time ELSA Assistant
Location: Secondary School in Fair Oak
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Contract: Permanent position offered upon successful completion of a probationary period

Role Overview:
As an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant), you will work closely with students to support their emotional well-being and social development. Your role will involve:
* Providing one-on-one and group support sessions to help students develop emotional literacy and resilience.
* Collaborating with teachers and support staff to identify students in need of emotional support.
* Developing and implementing intervention programs tailored to individual student needs.
* Monitoring and reporting on student progress to relevant stakeholders.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment that aligns with the school's core values.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
* Relevant qualifications in emotional literacy support or a willingness to undertake ELSA training.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* An understanding of child development and the challenges faced by secondary school students.
* A commitment to the school's ethos and values.
