About The Role
1. To run and supervise any kitchen section to required standards
2. Prepare, cook, and present food, quickly and efficiently, meeting company standards
3. Support head chef in delivering high standard of food
4. Delegate jobs to junior chefs and support them in their development
5. Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy, at all times
6. To understand and have a working knowledge of all current Health and Safety and food safety legislation
7. Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and report any maintenance issues
8. Manage food wastage through correct procedures
9. Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training
10. Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
11. Be involved and contribute at team meetings
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef and hotel management
