We now have an exciting opportunity to be part of our expanding, talented Scrum team.
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure for our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Our mission is to develop the tools and technology that enable our teams to get our customers back to normal.
Our Software Developers will be reporting into our Product Owner assisting with our bespoke award-winning IT system Evolve and is a fundamental role to our growth and success. You will analyse and provide deep subject matter expertise while facilitating internal and external collaboration using the product knowledge acquired.
Responsibilities
As our Solus Software Developer you will:
1. Develop new products and features end to end.
2. Build good working relationships across relevant third-party suppliers or partners to maximise business outcomes
3. Work across a wide range of technologies, across web, mobile apps, API, backend, and databases which are currently hosted within Azure
4. Work with the team to remove impediments to delivery in line with policy, process and other guidelines applying Business knowledge and expertise product owner who is responsible for a single product backlog
5. Seek exposure to insurers and other industries to share learning; attend key industry events and forums.
This role would suit someone with a structured methodology and desire to lead change.
Qualifications
6. Agile values, principles, and approaches as well as Scrum framework
7. Advocate of code quality, clean code, and best practice.
8. Microsoft stack knowledge (C#, .NET Core, SQL, Azure)
9. Experience of test-driven development (unit testing, mocking, integration testing)
10. Understanding of DevOps practices (CI & CD)
11. Familiarity of Cloud environments (., Azure)
12. Web/App experience
13. Excellent communication skills
