You will be joining a large organisation in Edinburgh who manage a high volume ofmercial buildings throughout the city. Due to an increase in demand, they are looking to add a plumber to their maintenance team on a long term basis.
Your new role
You will be working alongside other trades as part of the estate's maintenance team. This will involve small reactive repairs, fault-finding, inspection & testing and repairing internal fixtures and fittings, as well as overall property maintenance. You will be reporting to a contracts manager on a regular basis with any updates or queries. This role will involve interaction with members of the public and other members of staff, where you will be expected to be well-mannered and courteous at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified plumber and be able to provide up-to-date trade paperwork/SJIB card, ideally with experience working in a maintenance environment. As you will be provided access to a work van, you will have to have a valid UK Driving Licence. You may be required toplete a PVG via Disclosure Scotland.
