The University of Stirling is now looking for its next Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary faculty of research and teaching in Sociology, Social Policy, Criminology; Education; Housing; Social Work; and Dementia and Ageing.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities to foster collaboration and drive results across the Faculty. They must bring extensive senior management experience, with a proven track record of success in a research active environment. The Dean of Faculty will contribute to the effective management of the University, execute institutional strategies, and represent the Faculty both within and outside the University. They will also be able to demonstrate familiarity with, and understanding of, the challenges and opportunities that face higher education in the UK and Scotland.
