Job Title: Project Manager Lead - Aircraft Availability

Salary: £54,793 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
* Providing project management oversight of the maintenance and availability support to Hawk training aircraft
* Supporting and preparing for customer engagement including achievement of contractual milestones and project performance data
* Leading commercial relationships with joint venture partner
* Integrating financial performance of elements of projects and preparing reports and communications regarding this to senior stakeholders
* Supporting team and their professional development
* Managing and interpreting project control data, including risk & opportunity management, resource, change control and earned value management
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experienced project professional with knowledge of project management (tools, techniques, practices) in a complex engineering/production environment
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain and Production, and guide and develop others in project control
* Proficient understanding of project controls and data analysis toolsets (e.g., Tableau / COBRA, Microsoft Project / planning toolsets, Risk management toolsets, EVM, Microsoft office suite)
Desirable:
* Professional PM Qualification or practical experience gained through application of Project Management
* Understanding of the RAF and export Customer Organisations
* Experience working in an on-base environment

The Qatar Hawk Aircraft Support Team:
Operating from RAF Leeming, BAE Systems provides an availability service to support the Qatari Fleet of Hawk training aircraft and 11 Sqn QEAF. It's a fast pace, operational environment, providing an opportunity to work closely with our RAF and QEAF customers in support of the whole programme.
We're a dynamic, customer facing team, operating at pace to deliver an exceptional service. The role reports directly to the Qatar Hawk Programme Manager and involves close working with the Qatar Emiri Air Force and Royal Air Force.
You will be leading the contract management and programme integration, in addition to overseeing project control activities required to deliver the Qatar Hawk Support contract. Working alongside the Squadron to deliver training output, the role holder is responsible for assimilating and integrating key performance data for both business and customer, facilitating the key reporting reviews and ensuring project governance requirements are appropriately discharged.
