This opportunity has arisen due to the current Deputy Manager progressing into the Registered Manager role, demonstrating the potential for growth within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home.
* Lead and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality care tailored to each child’s needs.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain the home's "Good" rating, striving for excellence.
* Assist with care planning, staff supervision, and training to foster a positive and productive working environment.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a leadership role within children’s residential care, ideally supporting children with learning disabilities.
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent) and a willingness to pursue further training.
