Position: Marketing Manager
Salary: £40k
Location: KOI Footwear HQ in Manchester
Role Overview: As KOI’s Marketing Manager, you will be a key driver of our marketing initiatives, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and working closely with the Brand Manager to amplify our brand’s presence and engagement. In this role, you’ll oversee our digital marketing strategy, including collaborating with our ad agency, and lead a small team to execute impactful campaigns campaigns across social, CRM, ads and IRL. Your strategic insights and leadership will play a crucial role in guiding the marketing and content teams toward achieving KOI’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Digital Marketing Oversight: Take charge of KOI’s digital marketing activations, including weekly reviews with our ad agency. You will analyse data, identify key insights, and filter relevant feedback to share with the wider marketing and content teams, providing actionable steps and next steps for continuous improvement.
* Alignment with Brand Manager and SLT: Collaborate with the Brand Manager to establish and understand KOI's broader marketing goals. Ensure these objectives are effectively communicated and integrated into daily activities, with regular monitoring to track progress and maintain alignment across all marketing initiatives.
* Team Management: Lead a small team, providing mentorship and direction to ensure cohesive and high-quality output. You’ll also have the flexibility to engage freelancers when additional support is required, managing resources efficiently to meet strategic goals.
* Reporting to the SLT: Prepare and deliver a weekly summary report to the SLT, highlighting key metrics, campaign performance, and upcoming action points. This report will inform high-level decisions and ensure alignment with the broader company objectives.
* PR and Ambassador Strategy: Collaborate with KOI's PR & Ambassador Executive to implement marketing strategies across PR, taking ownership of quantities gifted and feeding back metrics to the Brand Manager.
* Content Strategy Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Content Manager to shape a content strategy that aligns seamlessly with the overarching marketing plan, ensuring a unified brand message across all platforms and campaigns.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a marketing management role, particularly within digital marketing, PR, or brand partnerships, preferably in the fashion or e-commerce sectors.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights for action.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and resources effectively.
* Experience leading a team and coordinating with various stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills, both for reporting to senior leadership and for guiding the team toward shared goals.
* An understanding of creative practices and attention to detail! Whilst this isn't explicitly a creative role, a keen eye for creativity is key to achieving success within this role.
