The role
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. In this exciting role you will be responsible for assembling data, analysing performance, identifying risks and value opportunities within the project to direct the function sufficiently. You will play an integral part mapping how we work in the future.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the generation and output of risk analysis against the delivery forecast, to be presented to the customer and key internal stakeholders.
* Tracking Gainshare savings and obtaining monthly signoff with both internal and external parties
* Identifying possible value improvement opportunities within the delivery forecast
* Manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights
* Carry out unscheduled analysis to support general organisational goals
Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel across a range of internal and customer sites on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Supply Chain Analyst:
* Considerable experience in a commercially focused equivalent role and similar operating model
* Experience of working for an established commercial organisation within a supply chain function delivering compliant contracts
* Experience with SAP or equivalent system
* Experience of managing, assessing, analysing and interpreting BIG data supporting a Procurement and Supply Chain function
* Experience of working within the Defence sector and an understanding of NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) and the CSIS portal is highly desirable but not essential
