Job Summary: They are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable team and ensure the efficient processing of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record in managing accounts payable staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
4. Monitor and analyse accounts payable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
6. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
7. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience in managing an accounts payable team.
3. Previous experience in the housing sector is essential.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
