JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Communications, the Marketing Assistant will join the MarComm team of 3 at Pan Pacific London, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awarded luxury hotel in London.
This entry-level, onsite position is based at the hotel Monday to Friday and is ideal for recent graduates who have completed a degree in marketing or public relations. The successful candidate will support the marketing team with a myriad of marketing and communication tasks that drive increased awareness and demand for the hotel across rooms, wellbeing and food and beverage. They will also be the first point of contact for internal marketing requests, and will manage responses and process end-to-end.
Your tasks as a Marketing Assistant will include but not be limited to:
General Marketing:
* Ensure efficient organisation and accessibility of all marketing assets including photography and videography.
* Perform monthly research on the hotel’s competitors across all channels.
* Be the go-to-person for all things collateral including copywriting, graphics and multimedia elements along with designing basic content and working closely with external partners.
* Assist with delivering induction presentations.
* Be the go-to-person for internal communications.
* Be the internal brand guardian.
* Collate monthly marketing reports.
* Support with budget related admin.
ONLINE AND DIGITAL
* Assist in maintaining and updating the hotel website with content and creative components.
* Support the Marketing Executive with SEO best practices to improve organic visibility.
* End-to-end updates on the gifted retail platform, keeping it seasonal and relevant.
* With training, assist in creating, scheduling, and tracking email marketing campaigns as well as maintain the CRM system.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
* Guided by the PR Agency and the marketing team, co-ordinate and book media/influencer experiences across rooms, wellbeing, and F&B.
SOCIAL MEDIA
* Track trending news and monitor guest feedback across channels.
* Develop and maintain a content calendar around seasonal campaigns and hospitality notable dates.
