We’re on the lookout for a passionate and motivated marketer with a love for digital, a creative mind, great writing skills and an eye for detail. Whilst your focus will be on our growing social media and email marketing channels, you won’t be afraid to get stuck in elsewhere. So, a can-do attitude and a willingness to support wider group marketing activities are a must.
What you’ll do:
* Champion the group’s social media strategy to increase followers and drive engagement (likes, comments, shares) across existing and new social media channels
* Own the social media content plan including monthly calendar and creation of written posts and visuals aligned with brand look and feel
* Post and monitor activity on all social platforms i.e. scheduled posts, responding to comments and messages from followers, and listening to online conversations
* Lead the email marketing strategy – this will involve managing the company’s email database, creating regular campaigns (copy and graphics) and designing templates
* Report on and analyse key metrics to understand how social content and email campaigns are performing – make recommendations for future growth
* Support the creation of digital assets i.e. videos, animations for use across digital channels
* Support the development of, and regular updates to, the company’s main website and other online tools i.e. catalogue and ordering platform, Brise.co.uk
* Support trade promotions as needed, including communications, purchasing and fulfilling prizes, tracking sales etc
* Assist the marketing manager with day-to-day activities as needed i.e. merchandise fulfilment, trade promotions, shows and events
What you’ll bring to this role:
* Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a digital marketing role or equivalent qualification
* Good understanding of social media and other digital platforms
* Strong copywriting and editing skills – ability to write compelling content aligned with the company’s brand voice – solid grammar and spelling are a must
* Excellent attention to detail
* A good eye for design with an ability to communicate ideas for supporting visuals. Basic design skills on Photoshop or similar to create own graphics a definite plus
* Use of social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar
* Good understanding of MailChimp or other email marketing platforms
* Experience of content management systems
* Ability to track, measure, and report on results
* Excellent organisation and project management skills
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
