A market-leading M&E building services contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding team, with several high-profile developments due to commence in the coming months. The company delivers complete mechanical and electrical design, installation, and aftercare services across a diverse range of sectors including commercial offices, industrial, hospitality, and healthcare. Duties & Responsibilities Manage the mechanical delivery of flagship M&E projects from pre-construction through to client handover. Oversee the coordination and implementation of mechanical systems ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Liaise effectively with clients, design consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Monitor site progress, programme adherence, and manage all mechanical installation activities. Work closely with commercial teams to review budgets, variations, and project changes. Lead on-site teams and provide guidance to engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and all relevant regulations. Skills & Experience In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems. Proven experience in project management of M&E services, with a strong focus on mechanical systems. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Commercially aware with a good understanding of budgets and forecasting. Qualifications Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline. Demonstrable experience managing mechanical building services projects valued at £1 million or more. Comprehensive understanding of UK construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
