The post holder will fulfil an important role within a team providing specialist internal audit services to a group of NHS organisations and external clients.
The post holder will be required to:
1. Audit a wide range of clients, both NHS and external organisations (e.g., Councils).
2. Plan, organise, control, and conduct IT audits in accordance with Public Sector Internal Audit standards.
3. Demonstrate the high degree of autonomy expected in delivering assignments.
4. Work with a level of autonomy whilst also communicating with managers and staff at all levels.

The post holder will also be expected to:
1. Evaluate existing practices and procedures to review whether there are more efficient ways of working.
2. Work with client management to gain acceptance of alternative ways of working.
3. Keep up to date with new technology.
The post holder will also undertake or assist the Senior Internal Audit Manager (Digital) with complex assignments.
