Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates with development experience in Ab-Initio and a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly within Hadoop and Cloud environments. A working knowledge of Teradata, Hive, and Impala databases is also essential. Additional relevant skills in application design, development, and implementation of data warehousing solutions using Ab-Initio are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies to enhance our business, platform, and technology capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions utilizing industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, while ensuring that the code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing among peers.
- Staying informed about industry technology trends and innovations and actively contributing to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
